Born from a process of physical determination and creative experimentation, the Tetra Hare design features a rustic wild hare originally created using a unique, eco-friendly Tetrapak drypoint printing technique. The textured line art was painstakingly hand-scratched through the glossy foil of a recycled chickpea packet into the fibrous paper layer beneath, inked, and pressed onto watercolour paper using an old pasta maker, before being finished with soft, hand-painted alcohol ink washes. Representing an immense challenge in grip, hand strength, and physical dexterity, the emergence of this recognisable, lively hare is a powerful celebration of artistic triumph over physical limitations.
